It has been reported that Green Bay Packers LB Clay Mattthews has signed a five year extension worth $65 million. This as you can imagine is a big resigning for the Packers when it comes to there lackluster defense last season in the NFL. Along with may say the Packers need to resign QB Aaron Rodgers who could be resigned sooner rather then later. On the other hand Clay Matthews being resigned is a must especially since the fact that the Packers don’t have much at the LB position other then Matthews and AJ Hawk. Matthews who’s only 26 years of age had a total of 13 sacks just last season alone. Let’s face it the Packers would be crazy to let not just the best defensive player on this team but also the leader of this defense. This Packer defense struggled last year and has been struggling for quite some time so can this defense improve?
